Community Gardens

The Community Garden Committee is responsible for establishing and enforcing the guidelines of the Community Gardens, maintaining the garden roster and managing the Community Garden budget.

There are two community gardens located within St. James

1 – Regency Community Garden, 4455 Regency Crossing

2 – SeaSide Community Garden, 3335 Shell Isle

The Developer has generously donated land to the residents of St James to use as Community Gardens at Regency and Seaside. A volunteer committee was organized and developed a plan to offer this amenity to property owners. Interested residents are given the opportunity to apply for a plot each year as they become available. Open plots are awarded from a list maintained by the Community Garden Committee in the order that applications are received. The annual fee for the plot is based on the size of the plot.  Plots have a 3-year term limit based on plot numbers assigned at garden design. Yearly renewal requests are due by November 15th of each year. A wait list is maintained and used as availability occurs. (See Guideline for Assigning Garden Plots below)
