St. James Plantation Chapel is organized as a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. As Homer Wright was planning the community of St. James, he envisioned a place where people would establish permanent homes. Out of that vision, the idea of a building for worship that would portray a sense of community was born.
Currently, a non-denominational worship service, with visiting pastors, is held on the second and fourth Sunday of the month at 9:00 AM.
Reservations
The chapel is available to property owners for weddings, baptisms, memorial services and other religious activities. Contact Sue Almeter to reserve the Chapel.
